As the peak engagement season approaches many prospective brides are turning their attention to what type of engagement ring will accompany the expected wedding proposal. While most brides won’t be able to afford the types of engagement rings worn by celebrities, it still is often inspirational, or just plain fun to check out those celebrity engagement rings. Today we feature the engagement rings of Kate Bosworth and Nicky Hilton. They both got princess-cut engagement rings. Check them out and decide which one you like more.
Actors, singers, musicians and other celebrities typically wear some of the biggest, brightest, and (of course) priciest engagement rings..
From Blake Lively’s roughly 12-carat oval-cut bauble valued at approximately $2 million from hubby Ryan Reynolds to Beyoncé’s 20-carat stunner from Jay Z, valued at a cool $5 million, these diamonds are definitely a girl’s most expensive friend.
Other notable celebrity engagement rings that we have featured include Victoria Beckham’s several engagement rings as well as the engagement ring that George Clooney gave to his new bride, Amal and 15 celebrities with stunning engagement rings.

On a recent Instagram spree, I noticed that both Nicky Hilton and Kate Bosworth, two of my favorite style icons, treated their followers to a close-up of their engagement rings. And guess what? They’re both totally jaw-dropping princess-cut sparklers — with slight differences that match each red carpet goddess’s personal style.
Kate, who married Michael Polish last August, has a breathtaking Art Deco-style diamond with two horizontal baguettes set in the vintage band.
She’s also wearing her matching wedding ring, with 18 horizontally-set baguette diamonds set in the band.

Nicky, who got engaged to James Rothschild in August during a European vacation, has a more traditional princess-cut diamond flanked by two trapezoid-shaped diamonds. So beautiful. I’m thinking she’ll keep it simple and stunning for her wedding ring too.
